If you are like a lot of people, then you no doubt have come across the problem of farming and making wow gold for your epic mounts. Let alone hitting the wow gold cap.

This always cracked me up. What better way to usher in a new expansion than going back to a classic raid instance. I wonder if the guy who lead this guild still plays this game.

The Cataclysm is upon us! In a few weeks, World of Warcraft Cataclysm will be here. If you’re like most players, you’re probably anxiously surfing the message boards, watching videos, and trying to talk your buddy who got into the beta into giving you some tips.

Still, is that going to get the job done? You can only do what you can do, but that kind of preparation isn’t going to get you too far. Azeroth is getting transformed. New player races are appearing. New levels, new gear, new dungeons. If you want to hit the ground running, you need to do more now. Of course, it would help if you knew what to do, or what you need. Well here’s some info that will be crucial if you want to be one of the leaders in the conquest of the newly remade world.

The 3 Things You Will Need

Obviously you will need a lot of things to successfully make the jump to Cataclysm, but here are the 3 most important.

Gold Reserves

First, start stockpiling the gold! You can bet that you’re going to run out of gold quickly once this thing hits. Prices for all the cool new stuff are going to be insane, so you’ll either stockpile gold now, or fall behind later.

If you plan on upgrading your professions, buying dungeon gear, getting the new materials, heck if you plan on getting anywhere, you had better have a lot of gold stockpiled. But if you’re going to pile up a lot more gold than you usually do, you’re going to need a new plan for doing so.

Quality Gear

Leveling in Cataclysm is said to be pretty easy. The hard part is having the gear you need to keep on leveling. If you’re not running with excellent gear now, you are going to have trouble when the Cataclysm arrives.

And you can bet that all the gear you need is going to cost more once the Cataclysm strikes us. It is crucial to get yourself the best gear you can now, while it is relatively easy to do so. This is particularly important if you’re planning on leveling a Gnome or Worgen. That level 30, 40, or 50 gear that you are going to need is a lot cheaper now than it will be soon.

Think about it. What’s going to happen to prices when virtually everyone in the game is trying to level new characters at the same time? Talk about insane price increases! If you stockpile the gear your new characters are going to need, you’ll save yourself from the insane price hikes that are coming.

An Effective Plan

Third, you need to get yourself a plan. Set aside some time to map out everything you intend to do when you get into the expansion and write down a strategy for how to do it. This includes all the new locations you want to visit, the alts you will roll, which new mounts you want to buy, and so on.

Why do all this now? Because you’ll make your life a lot easier, and get a bigger leg up on the competition, if you get started sooner. You can take advantage of the opportunity to get ahead if you’re smart about it and get to work now.

The latest Cataclysm trailer is out now to win over the hearts of WoW fans. The new trailer features the villain Dragon Deathwing who is seen in thrilling shots. This dragon is called Neltharion the Earth Warder but it is now called as Deathwing the Destroyer in the new expansion. Deathwing is a nearly molten, colossal black dragon. The dragon is hideous and angry which is clearly shown in the trailer. When the dragon flies, various structures collapse by his sheer flapping of wings. Cataclysm is all set to be released on 7th December this very year. The latest expansion is debuted with appealing five minutes trailer that promises huge sweeping alterations from the earlier WoW much loved and admired classics. Players will now be treated to the two new playable races i.e. the Worgen and Gnome-esque Goblins for Alliance and Horde respectively. What all is interesting about the expansion is flying in Azeroth, new monsters, raids and dungeons, class combinations, number of latest quests, heroic versions of early instances, new skill in archeology, Guide Leveling System with achievements, character progression path, new battlegrounds and even more. Most gold making activities focus on maintaining a boring routine that takes hours to finish. What’s worse is that you gotta keep doing it every day to keep the gold flowing in and it can make anyone go insane. The basics to make wow gold is to trade through the auction house, farm for it, or complete daily quests. The ones in sholazar basin work pretty well but it is best to wait until you’ve maxed out your level and do those level appropriate dailies.

There are currently four healer types World of Warcraft which are priest, shamans, paladins, and druids.

Priests have 2 talent trees that enhance their healing capabilities. The first tree is the discipline tree. This specializes in healing while taking direct fire (tank healing as it is called). They don’t have the best healing but they heal by casting shields that absorb damage or significantly reducing damage intake on themselves and party/raid members. The 2nd tree in the priest talent tree is the holy tree where it specializes in the more traditional “maximize” healing ability. This includes mass healing effects like prayer of healing and very strong single target heals. Most raids usually take in healing priests but disc priests are great too.

Shamans are an interesting healing class. They only have one tree that deals with healing, which is the restoration tree. Their heals are pretty unique, which is why you want at least 1 shaman in the raid to heal. The chain heal skill is a signature shaman ability that prioritizes healing the weakest hp party member primarily, and then the second, 3rd, 4th and 5th. This helps to make sure that near death party members get healing first. The instant nature of all 5 people getting healed can be critical in time-tight raid encounters. They also boast heroism (alliance) and bloodlust (horde), which boost damage and survivability output.

Paladins have the holy tree which is devoted only to healing. They’re best for single target healing (which is usually tanks and off tanks). The beacon of light ability lets a person be healed 50% from heals on a 2nd target or vice versa. This is great for main healing the main tank while giving good heals to the off tank. Paladins also tend to be the first class that can have the strongest and fastest single target heals of any class.

Druid healers are excellent single target healers. They boast a limited cooldown but strong aoe healing (tranquility) and also heal over times that can heal up to 5 players at once. They also have enervate that lets a person regen basically full mana during raid combat, which is great for critical players who go oom (out of mana). They also have wild growth which is a 5 party member smart heal similar in some respects to the shaman’s chain heal.
